- Garvan Woodland Gardens
A department of the University of Arkansas School of Landscape Architecture, Garvan Woodland Gardens is a 210-acre woodland garden paradise surrounded by Lake Hamilton. The Gardens host spectacular seasonal floral displays, such as their annual “Tulip Extravaganza,” along with numerous events and educational offerings. Their annual Holiday light event, “Lights on the Landscape” features 1.8 million lights illuminating the Gardens. Other features include stunning waterfalls, a children’s adventure garden, architecturally significant structures including the Anthony Chapel and Verna Cook Garvan Pavilion, Weyerhaeuser Bonsai Garden, the Three Sisters of Amity Daffodil Hill, and the Paul W. Klipsch Amphitheater.
